– Turnout & Show (max
mark 35)
Overall Turnout of Horse
and Rider (20 marks).
Freestyle Show (15 marks)
short show to include walk, trot,
canter and extension (note a set show may be given by judge).
Judged on horses
paces/freedom of action, performance and
riders effectiveness
Immediately

PHASE
2
– Jumping - (max mark 65)
Course 8 fences including
one combination - 50 marks -
deductions 10 per knock down / 15 first refusal / 20 second refusal /
elimination third refusal.
Jumping style (max mark 15)
Judged on style and
performance of horse and rider whilst
jumping.
The
ten competitors with the highest
marks from phases 1 and 2
(or if less than 10 in the
class, all competitors except
eliminations)
return to the ring for
group work.
PHASE
3
– Group Work (max mark 20)
Judged on horses manners
and overall style and performance of
horse and rider during group work.
Jumping boots optional - if
worn, they must be worn for all
phases
